Bondurant is a safe, family-friendly community located 18 minutes away from Des Moines. It is just an 8-minute drive away from all the amenities of Altoona, including Prairie Meadows and Adventureland. It is regarded as an excellent place to live, work and play away from the “big city”. It offers a quiet, rural feel, with numerous acreages for sale, but with all the conveniences of living close to Des Moines and the larger suburbs.
Bondurant is home to a sports complex and the Bondurant Regional Trailhead. There are also numerous other public parks in the area.
Bondurant is served by the Bondurant-Farrar Community School District. There are two elementary schools, a middle school and a high school in the district.
