Free Money To Help You Buy a Home

Did you know that the State of Iowa provides free money to help many prospective homeowner’s with the down payment on their new homes? The program is administered through the State of Iowa and are worth looking into if you meet the income requirements.  To qualify, See below: 

1. Household Income Limit
   Varies by county and household size and ranges from $96,500 to $134,550.
2. Home Purchase Limit
   $510,000—may be up to $624,000 in targeted areas—use the Eligibility Quick Check below to determine if the home is located in one of the targeted areas.
3. Occupancy
   The home must be occupied by the buyer as a primary residence within 60 days of closing.
