Maggie grew up in Iowa City surrounded by the real estate business. Her family owned/managed both residential and commercial properties. She spent much of her childhood listening, watching, and participating in all aspects of Real estate.
In 1990, at the ripe old age of 8, Maggie started filing documents at the real estate office, where her mom worked. By the age of 10, she moved to the phones because her gift of talking was not being utilized back in the filing room. Maggie continued to work there on and off through high school and college in different capacities.
In 2005, she moved to Des Moines, where she went to cosmetology school. Shortly after, she graduated and opened her own salon and continued this path for 15 years.
In 2016, Maggie stopped doing hair because her youngest baby was born. At the time, she had 3 kids under 3 who needed her full attention. After a few years of strictly staying home and raising kids, she decided to get back into the real estate business and got her license in 2018.
Maggie's first year in real estate, she won Rookie of the Year, and in 2022, she was nominated and recognized for the 40 Under 40 award.
Most recently, she has joined the Knickerbocker Real Estate team. She is excited to join such an outstanding group who share the same values and customer service focus, and she does. My desire to problem solve, help buyers and sellers through this extremely important decision is just a few of the many reasons I absolutely love this industry. Are you interested in flipping houses?
